“Energy and machine engineering” chair

History

The Department of Energy and Mechanical Engineering is a structural unit of KInEU.

The history of the department’s development is inextricably linked with the history of the establishment of KInEU, as one of the higher educational institutions of the Kostanay region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2012, as a result of changes in the university’s structure, the faculties of Mechanical Engineering and Transport and Agrotechnology and Energy were merged into the Engineering and Technology Faculty (ETF). The departments of Mechanical Engineering Technologies and Energy and Automation were reorganized into the Department of Energy and Mechanical Engineering.

The head of the department was appointed Cand. Tech. Sci. Tatyana Bedykh.

Languages of instruction – Kazakh and Russian.

Teachers conducting classes in special disciplines have the appropriate basic education, experience in pedagogical and practical work.

Educational programs

At the moment, the Department of Energy and Mechanical Engineering is training in 3 educational programs:

Licenses for the training of the above-mentioned educational programs have been approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Priorities

The strategic priority for the development of the department is competitiveness and quality at all levels of the organization of scientific research and the educational process, based on adaptive educational programs to the needs of customers.

In this regard, the strategic priorities of the department’s activities are:

Implementation of the educational process, corresponding to the level of world standards;

Improving the quality of scientific research and developments related to industry;

Training of highly qualified specialists on the orders of enterprises and organizations.

For conducting all types of practices and further employment of graduates in all educational programs, the department has cooperation agreements.
