INTERNATIONAL PROSPECTS ⠀

Beth MACKENDRICK, First Secretary at the Department of Business and Trade of British Embassy visited KEnEU named after M. Dulatov. ⠀

Amangeldy Bulatovich SHAYAKHMETOV, University Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations, told the guest about the history of KEnEU and highlighted the main directions and prospects of the university's development. “We would like to establish cooperation with you. Can we send students to the UK to improve their language skills?” - asked the Vice-Rector.⠀

The guest noted that there are several options for it: studying at British universities within the framework of academic mobility, cooperation with British companies interested in dual education, and seasonal work at enterprises. ⠀

There are also programmes for teachers - free Master's and Doctoral studies at British universities. Every year, 10-15 scholarships are allocated to Kazakhstan. “Now we are targeting regional universities” - summarised Beth McKendrick. “We have met. Now we will keep in touch and establish cooperation!”
