An environmental culture has been established

Today a regional meeting was held in Kostanay with the participation of the akim of the Kostanay region, Kumar Aksakalov. The event was also attended by the rector of KEnEU and the secretary of the Kostanay City Maslikhat Arman Ismailov.
The results of the implementation of the environmental programme "Taza Kazakhstan" for the first half of 2025 were on the agenda.
The akim of the region noted that spring tree planting in populated areas was intense: of the 150,000 seedlings planned, 88,500 have already been planted. The remaining trees are due to be planted in the autumn.
The programme also pays great attention to the development of road infrastructure. 102 billion KZT has been allocated to improve the condition of public roads. Repair work is being conducted on 1,300 kilometres of roads.
"The pace of implementation of the programme in our region is good. There are minor shortcomings, but overall the work is moving in the right direction. Now it is important not to slow down and continue what has been started" emphasised Kumar Aksakalov.
