The Department of Energy and Mechanical Engineering

History

The Department of Energy and Mechanical Engineering is a structural unit of KInEU.

The history of the department is closely connected with the development of KInEU as one of the higher education institutions of the Kostanay Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2012, following changes to the university structure, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport and the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Energy were merged into the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The departments of Mechanical Engineering Technologies and Energy and Automation were reorganized into the Department of Energy and Mechanical Engineering.

Tatyana Bedych, Candidate of Technical Sciences, was appointed Head of the Department.

The languages of instruction are Kazakh and Russian.

The instructors teaching specialized disciplines have relevant professional education as well as teaching and practical work experience.

Educational Programs of the Department

The Department of Energy and Mechanical Engineering currently provides training in three educational programs:

6B07109 Heat Power Engineering
6B07111 Mechanical Engineering

The educational programs listed above are delivered under licenses approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

- Training highly qualified specialists for enterprises and organizations.

The department maintains cooperation agreements to organize all types of practical training and support the further employment of graduates across its educational programs.
