KEnEU projects under EBRD programmes

Development and implementation of energy-saving technologies, as well as training of staff at Kostanay Engineering and Economics University named after M. Dulatov on the topic "Fundamentals of Energy Auditing".

The main objective of the project: Energy saving and improving the energy efficiency of selected buildings and structures of KEnEU, as well as strengthening KEnEU's position in the market as a provider of consulting services for energy audits of buildings and structures in Northern Kazakhstan.

The main task of the project: Development of energy-saving measures, as well as the creation of a personnel base for energy auditing at Kostanay Engineering and Economics University named after M. Dulatov.

Project objectives:

• Conducting energy audits on selected KEnEU buildings.

• Developing energy saving and energy efficiency measures to reduce energy costs for maintaining KEnEU buildings.

• Training KEnEU staff on the topic of "Fundamentals of Energy Auditing".

Implementation deadlines 13.03.2012 — 16.04.2012

• Development of a new website

The main objective of the project is to strengthen market position.

Objectives:

1. Develop a new website on the WordPress platform;

2. Accessibility of information in three clicks;

3. Mobile version;

4. Transfer data from the old website to the new one without data loss;

5. Transfer the rector.kineu.kz domains to the main kineu.kz domain and develop a design for these pages in accordance with the overall style of the website. Users must provide their email address to contact the rector;

6. Create two accounts for administration with full access;

7. The warranty period during which changes can be made to the website is three months from the date of delivery to the customer;

8. The colour scheme of the website design should be based on three colours: blue, red and white. With an emphasis on blue.

Implementation deadlines 10.11.2017 — 28.12.2017

"Attracting Local Specialists" project, consultations with Kazakhstani experts to ensure financial stability, identify prospects for improving competitiveness and developing the university through the use of smart technologies in the educational process.

Project objectives:

1. Analyse the financial activities of Kostanay Engineering and Economics University named after M. Dulatov, taking into account internal and external factors affecting the competitiveness of the university;

2. Conduct marketing research on potential consumers of the university's educational services, taking into account the introduction of digital technologies;

3. Conduct an expert review of the university's current strategic development plan and assess its feasibility with a view to ensuring financial sustainability.

4. Identify relevant avenues for the university's development.

Implementation deadlines 04.06.2018 – 19.09.2018

"Attracting Industrial Specialists" project involves consultations with industrial experts with the aim of further introducing Smart Learning technologies into KEnEU, developing telecommunications infrastructure, the material base of a smart university, developing the Digital Academy, and creating a resource centre for educational robotics.

Plan: to create a smart university as a customer-oriented model for the digital university of Kazakhstan.

Objectives:

1) Introduction of innovative information and communication technologies into the educational process, promoting the formation of modern educational trajectories using content from the best world and domestic universities;

2) Use of modern management and analytical information systems in the management of the scientific and educational process and university infrastructure.
