About the Centre for International Cooperation and Project Implementation

The Centre for International Cooperation and Project Implementation is a structural subdivision of the University, performs a set of functions on establishment and development of external relations of the University with foreign partners within the framework of the Strategic Development Plan of the University for 2020-2025.

The main purpose of the Centre's activity is to organise and coordinate the participation of KEnEU in international cooperation programmes aimed at improving the quality of educational programmes and the prestige of KEnEU, as well as to ensure project activities of KEnEU.

The main objectives of the Centre are:

  • formation of international cooperation programmes;

  • formation of projects on strategically important areas of the university's life and development;

  • involvement of the teaching staff in international cooperation;

  • external credit and academic mobility of students and teaching staff;

  • organisation of internships of the faculty and staff of KEnEU abroad;

  • assistance in training of highly qualified personnel from among the most talented young people of the University in leading foreign educational institutions;

  • assistance in obtaining and realising international grants and target investments of Republican and foreign funds;

  • organisation of education and training of foreign citizens under individual and cooperation agreements;

  • realisation of information and representative activity;

  • ensuring effective project activity of the KEnEU;

  • creation of project management system and ensuring efficient use of time, financial and other resources through planning, organisation and control of project implementation;

  • information support of project activities.

At the moment the Centre has concluded about 72 active agreements with foreign educational institutions and 59 Kazakhstani universities.

  • CASCADE (Consortium of Agricultural Universities for the Development of Central Asia and the South Caucasus);

  • Silk Road Alliance;

  • Academic Impact UN;

  • AWS Academy;

  • Global Computing Consortium;

  • UHD World Association;

  • WLAN Application Alliance;

  • Network Innovation & Development Alliance;

  • Synergy International University Networking Project.
