Fire safety: important lessons for students

The recent fire at the Kazakhstan-British Technical University (KBTU) in Almaty was a reminder of the importance of following fire safety measures. To prevent possible future consequences and raise awareness, safety engineer Nurlan Ualikhanovich Bizhanov gave a training lecture on fire safety to students.

- We have repeatedly held classes on fire safety, but to remind and recall the elementary requirements and rules will not be superfluous, - emphasized the engineer for safety.

At the lecture students were reminded that each of them should be ready to act in case of emergency. Among the main requirements - knowledge of the evacuation plan, emergency exits and service exits.
