Accreditation: the first productive day

Today our university started the procedure of external quality assessment of education. The External Expert Commission of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating arrived with a working visit.

 On the first day of work the members of the commission conducted a series of interviews with key representatives of the university. Among the interlocutors were Rector Arman Ismailov, Vice-Rectors for Academic Development, Science and Innovation, heads of departments, heads of structural divisions, teaching staff and students.

 In addition to interviews, the experts familiarized themselves with the material and technical base of the university: they visited classrooms and laboratories. Such a comprehensive approach allows to objectively assess both the level of training of specialists and the conditions created for students and teachers.

Accreditation is not just a formal procedure, however an important tool for improving the internal system of education quality. The first day of the commission's visit was productive, and the university continues open and constructive work with the specialists of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency (IAAR).
