“The Role of a Citizen in the State”

An open lecture dedicated to the important topic “The Role of a Citizen in the State” was held at Kostanay Engineering and Economics University named after M. Dulatov, organized within the framework of the implementation of the narrative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev “Law and Order”. The event gathered students interested in issues of legal awareness and civic responsibility.
The speakers included Bagdat Galimzhanovich Esikeev, an official representative of the Prosecutor's Office of Kostanay region, Talgatbek Zhetpisbayuly Baybulatov, a psychologist of the Department of Youth Policy KEnEU Alina Maratovna Ismagulova.
In his speech, the Senior Prosecutor spoke about the activities of the Prosecutor's Office, emphasizing the importance of its role in supervision. He also gave concrete examples from his professional practice, explaining how the prosecutor's office protects legality in various spheres of society.
The Legal Advisor of KEnEU elaborated on the main provisions of the University Charter, emphasizing the importance of observing internal regulations and principles of law and order in the educational institution. He noted that compliance with the laws and rules of the educational institution is not only an obligation, but also the basis of safety for students.
The psychologist of the Department of Youth Policy dwelt on the psychological nature of offenses among young people, discussing what motivates students to commit such offenses as petty hooliganism, cheating on exams or using illegal substances. The psychologist focused on the importance of developing the right values and behaviors from an early age in order to avoid delinquency in the future.
The students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions and sharing their thoughts. They realized that breaking the law can have a negative impact on their future and that the responsibility for keeping order starts with each of us.
