Master class from the pros

On Saturday, a bright sports event - a master class from the professional basketball team “Tobol” - took place in the walls of KEnEU. Players of the main club of the region came to the court not for the sake of winning the match, but to pass on their knowledge and inspire students to play basketball.

During the master class students learned what pick-and-roll is in action, how to properly set the backboard, and why possession of the ball is not only dribbling, but also the ability to read the game. Tobol basketball players demonstrated perimeter shooting techniques, defensive formations and teamwork skills.

Such meetings are a great chance for students to pump up their skills, learn how a real timeout works, and hear stories from big-time sports.
