The future of science - in the youth's hands

Today at Kostanay Engineering and Economics University named after M. Dulatov was held the International Student Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Myrzhakyp Dulatov “Scientific Research and Practical Achievements”. The event brought together more than 100 participants from Kazakhstan and CIS countries: students, undergraduates, graduate students, postgraduates and young teachers.

The President of KEnEU, Rikhsibay Abdurakhmanovich Mamedov, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He emphasized the importance of student science as the most important element of the educational process: “Student science is not only an opportunity to deepen your knowledge and skills, but also a chance to contribute to the development of science and society,” he said.

Also at the opening speech was made by Deputy Head of the Department of Public Development Kazez Kairat Talgatuly, noting that the conference is an important platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and ideas between young scientists and researchers-practitioners.

The work of the conference was organized in five sections: technology and energy, production and processing of products, information technology and automation, economics, and social sciences. The presentations were held in Kazakh, Russian and English languages - both in the traditional format and online. This allowed to cover a wide range of participants and present current research and development in various fields.

Our university was especially active - more than 30 participants presented their scientific works.

The organizers stressed that such conferences contribute to the professional growth of young researchers.
According to the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of materials, which will be posted on the official website of the university.
