Improvement of educational programs

Today, the Department of Transport and Service hosted a meeting of the academic committee for the development of educational programs "Logistics" and "Organization of transportation, traffic and operation of transport."

 The meeting was attended by Dinara Omarova, Head of the Commercial Department of Kaztemirtrans JSC, Altynai Nazarova, a representative of the HR department of this company, as well as Yulia Velmitskaya from «Almar Export LLP».

 After listening to the heads of educational programs, the employers gave their recommendations for the training of highly qualified specialists. They stressed the importance of having the basic knowledge necessary to work in logistics and transport. It was proposed to reduce some academic disciplines in order to allocate more hours for narrow specialized subjects. Employers positively noted the possibility of studying in the "Minor" program.

  The Academic Committee took note of all the comments and suggestions and will continue to work on improving educational programs that meet the needs of employers and prepare our students for the real conditions of the labor market.
