Honored the memory of heroes

A memorial meeting dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held today in Victory Park. Hundreds of city residents came to the Memorial to the fallen heroes - to lay flowers and honor the memory of the victims with a minute of silence.

Kostanay Engineering and Economics University named after M. Dulatov headed by the rector Arman Orazalievich Ismailov joined the procession and paid tribute to the feat of soldiers.

Only from Kostanay region about 75 thousand people went to the front during the war. More than half of them did not return home. Today their feat is alive in the hearts of grateful descendants.
