KEnEU welcomed guests from Azerbaijan

Today Kostanay Engineering and Economics University named after M. Dulatov became the center of cultural exchange, receiving guests from Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic in the framework of an important event timed to the anniversary dates: 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and 30th anniversary of the public association “Azerbaijan Community of Kostanay region ‘Birlik’.

Among the guests of honor were vice-president of the Republican Friendship Society of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Nasikha Kenjina, chairman of “Birlik” NGO in the Kyrgyz Republic Hansyvar Bakhsheliyev, employee of the Azerbaijani Committee on Diaspora Affairs Billure Alekberova, professor of the Azerbaijan University of Languages Sevdagul Aliyeva, associate professor of the Philosophy Department of the University of Languages Shukufa Jabbarova, as well as representatives of the scientific-expert group of the ANC of Kostanay region. Their visit emphasized the strength of interstate ties and the importance of interethnic dialogue.

Event began with a warm welcome: the guests were treated with koumiss and national treats. Then there was a tour of the university, where they were shown the office of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the office of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”.

The round table discussed important issues of cultural cooperation, preservation of traditions and strengthening of interethnic harmony. Kairat Gazez, Deputy Head of Public Development Department of Kostanay region, made a welcoming speech.

President of KINEU Rihsibai Abdurakhmanovich Mamedov emphasized that the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan serves as a symbol of friendship and harmony, and the University itself can be called a “mini-Assembly”. He informed about plans of the university to allocate 10 grants for training of representatives of different ethnoses, speaking the state language.

The head of KSU “Kogamdyk Kelisim” of Public Development Department of Akimat of Kostanay region Natalia Ramazanova noted the importance of the work of our university in strengthening interethnic harmony and thanked the leadership of KINEU for supporting the initiatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
