“Standardization and food technology” chair

History

The Department of Standardization and Food Technologies is a structural unit of the M. Dulatov Kostanay University of Engineering and Economics.

The staff of the Department of Standardization and Certification is 26 people. The settlement rate was 66.6%. Full–time teaching staff today is 82.3%. The average age is 40 years, teaching staff with academic degrees and titles is 50 years. There are 4 corresponding members of the International Academy of Agrarian Education at the department, 3 people have the academic titles of associate professor (associate professor) awarded by the Committee for Control in the field of Education and Science, 1 person is an Honored Worker of agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  The language of instruction is the state language and Russian. The scientists of the department are members of the UMO GUP for all educational programs implemented at the department. Thus, they take an active part in the development of the OP. The department is engaged in personnel policy, teachers are trained in doctoral and master's degrees at partner universities (ZKATU, KazATU, etc.).

Teachers who teach classes in core disciplines have appropriate basic education, experience in teaching and practical work. The Department of Standardization and Food Technologies, as one of the main educational, scientific, structural divisions of the University, carries out the work of training specialists in the following educational programs:

Licenses approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan are available for the preparation of the above-mentioned specialties.

Educational programs 6B08127 "Agronomy", 6B07514 "Standardization and certification" 6B07213 "Technology of processing industries (by industry)" are accredited in the NAAR.

The demand for the personnel of the listed OPS in the region is high. This is evidenced by 100% employment of graduates of the department. Graduates of the department have a unique opportunity to undergo internships and internships under the program of international partner universities in Germany, Austria, England, France, Israel, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, etc.

The basic department was established with the aim of training specialists in the field of agro-industrial complex, and their educational and industrial adaptation to the implementation of activities on the basis of mutual interest and long—term cooperation, as the most important condition for improving the quality of training of agronomists, food technologists and experts in the field of technical regulation.

Cooperation

The department closely cooperates with LLP "Agricultural experimental station Zarechnoye", LLP "Olzha Agro", LLP "Baltic Control", JSC "Bayan-Sulu", TK-44 "Production Technology", Accredited testing laboratory of LLP "Allianskom", RSE "Karabalykskaya SHOS", JSC "Kostanay flour Mill", KF RSE "KazInSt", KF JSC "NaTSeX", RSE "Republican Scientific and Methodological Center of agrochemical service", etc.

Cooperation is expressed in joint educational, industrial, scientific activities and is sealed by relevant agreements on the conduct of dual, practice-oriented training. Branches and classes of the department have been created and operate in the production conditions of this enterprise.

Goals

The Department of Standardization and Food Technologies in the field of education Quality sets the following goals:

- training of highly qualified specialists with fundamental knowledge and capable of effective innovation in the field of agricultural sciences, engineering and technology, while preserving the values of classical education;

- training of specialists for experimental research, conducting experiments, measurements, observations, and the implementation of research results and scientific developments in agricultural production and the processing industry.

The Department of Standardization and Food Technologies in its activities strives to guarantee and provide high quality educational services through modern innovative learning technologies, the development of international cooperation with universities both near and far abroad.
