Agroecology

Educational program 6B08147 “Agroecology” is a joint program of dual education, developed within the Erasmus+ project 101082564 “Development of bachelor program in agroecology with dual education in Kazakhstan / AGROKAZ”.

 

The peculiarity of the educational program “Agroecology” is the fact that it is interdisciplinary and provides the foundations necessary for sustainable and environmentally safe development of agriculture as a basis for the conservation of biological diversity and food security of the country.

Important aspects related to this educational program include:

  • implementation of semester and term projects on specific cases of enterprises with the involvement of mentors from production;
  • dual education (at the same time with education students master their chosen profession directly at the enterprise, i.e. they study both at the university and at the enterprise at the same time);
  • employment opportunities during the period of education;
  • possibility to receive practice-oriented, innovative, science-intensive additional LLL training programs with certification;
  • opportunity to participate in the academic mobility program:

internal: KazNARU, Pavlodar State University named after. S. Toraigyrov, KazATU named after Seifulin, University named after Shakarim, etc.;

external: universities of Serbia, Croatia, Greece, etc.

The field of professional competence of graduates who have mastered the Bachelor's degree program includes:

  • soil, agrochemical, agroecological research and development aimed at the rational use and conservation of agrolandscapes in agricultural production;
  • control over the state of the environment and compliance with environmental regulations for production and land use;
  • agroecological assessment of agricultural lands and substantiation of methods for their rational use;
  • development of environmentally safe technologies for crop production and soil fertility reproduction; agroecological models, soil-ecological standards.
