About the department
The Department of Transport and Service is a structural division of the Kostanay University of Engineering and Economics named after M. Dulatov.
The degree rate in the department is 54.8%, the average age is 45 years. The department employs 14 candidates, 2 PhD doctors, 7 associate professors, 3 professors, 8 masters. The work of the department is coordinated by the Council of the Kostanay University of Engineering and Economics named after M. Dulatov. The language of instruction is state and Russian.
Educational program
Teachers who conduct classes in special disciplines have the appropriate basic education, experience in pedagogical and practical work. The Department of Transport and Service, as one of the main educational and scientific, structural divisions of the university, carries out work on training specialists in the following specialties:

There are licenses for training the above-mentioned specialties approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The need to open specialties arose in accordance with the needs of the region for qualified specialists in the field of organizing transportation, maintenance, repair, operation of agricultural and transport equipment, as well as logisticians in transport.
Professional practice
The department cooperates with enterprises of the Kostanay region specializing in the production, maintenance, operation of equipment. To conduct all types of practices and further employment under these educational programs, the department has cooperation agreements.
The Department of Transport and Service in its activities strives to guarantee and ensure high quality of educational services through modern teaching technologies, development of international cooperation with universities of both near and far abroad.
Objectives
- Formation of competencies that allow for the implementation of organizational and managerial activities in the agro-industrial complex;
- Training of specialists for production and technological activities using design, technological and operational documentation;
- Training of specialists for experimental research work, conducting experiments, measurements, observations, implementation of research results and scientific developments in agricultural production, transport and agricultural engineering and organization of transportation;
- Formation of skills and abilities in creating theoretical models that allow to study the technical condition of technical objects and technological processes, to evaluate the efficiency of the transportation process.
