Forum in Lisakovsk: working professions - the way to the future

Today in Lisakovsk in the framework of the Year of working professions held a regional educational forum “Popularization of working professions”. The organizer of the event was Lisakovsk Technical College, which is headed by a graduate of our university Zhuldyz Shamilievna Kaipbaeva.

The forum set itself a pressing task - to popularize working professions among schoolchildren, using modern methods of career guidance, practical immersion in the profession and expanding cooperation between educational institutions.

Kostanay Engineering and Economics University named after M. Dulatov, as one of the forum participants and a strategic partner of the college, also presented to school principals the program of admission to our university and opportunities for continuing professional training.

Director of the Career Center Ai-Gul Seralievna Segizbaeva and Director of the Department of the Youth Policy Zhanar Seilkhanovna Nurgazina met with the students of the college, inspiring them to go further on the chosen professional path. Student Aruzhan Dauletnazarova shared her student life at the university from the inside.

The forum participants were also treated to tours of laboratories, a workshop and the opening of a new training room and the Competence Center “Digital Technopark of Electromechanical Equipment”.
The guests also experienced the latest technologies by trying on VR-glasses and driving a quarry vehicle.

The forum was an important step towards strengthening the status of working professionals.
